STOWELL, DOLORES CATON
Of Penn Hills, on THURSDAY MARCH 7 2024. Beloved  Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother; preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Charles R Stowell;  mother of Susan Sauer (Jim), Craig Stowell (Janet), Andrew and the late Kirk Stowell; grandmother of Jason (Amy), Brian(Michelle) and Patrick(Marci) ; great-grandmother of Sabrina, Shae, Alyssa, Abby,Jason, Asher, Aniah, Annabelle,Maximus, and Bo; also survived by nieces, nephews and godchildren. Dolores Stowell graduated from Sacred Heart High School  and the University of Pittsburgh where she received a Bachelor of Science in 1951.  She started her career as a primary education teacher in the Pittsburgh Public School District. She was an initial member of the Osher Lifetime Learning  Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. A lifelong lover and supporter of the arts she was a subscriber to the Pittsburgh CLO for a number of decades and enjoyed many days of cultural events.

Friends received at St. Jude Parish, St Raphael Church 1154 Chislett St, Pittsburgh, PA 15206 on Tuesday March 12, 2024 at 11AM with Mass of  Christian Burial to follow at 12 NOON. Interment after mass at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to:
