Louis Pasquarelli

Age 59, passed away July 28th just one day shy of his one year wedding anniversary. Louis waged a tireless battle against cancer and left us much in the way he lived his life – on his own terms. Known for his affable humor, love of life and Michael, Lou will be remembered for his unfaltering generosity and ability to make anyone feel at ease. He was the proud owner of Salon Michale in Penn Hills and was gratified by knowing his husband worked hard and was very much a part of the fabric of the community there. Many will remember his and his brother’s endless trips to the salon to walk “Charlie”. It wasn’t uncommon to find Lou inside the salon or the nearby parking lot chatting with customers and assisting regulars to their car doors.
Lou leaves behind his loving husband and partner of 21 years, Michael Eicher, nephews Kevin, Harry “Scooter” and James “Little Jim” Pasquarelli, best friends Donna Watson, Kathy Blose and countless others. Lou is preceded in death by his parents Francis and Harry, his brothers James (Judith) of Penn Hills and Harry Pasquarelli.
Michael would like to thank the team at Hillman Cancer Institute and Dr. James Rosette for their boundless efforts and devoted care of Louis; as well as Louis’s extended family at Whistler Construction where he worked for 30+ years.
