Vincianna "Vi" Scaringi
Age 94, of Penn Hills; on December 21, 2017; Preceded in death by her husband Joseph T. Scaringi, parents Joseph and Guistina Perri, and siblings Helen and Nicholas Perri; Survived by her children Arlene Berexa (David) of Nashville, TN, Joseph Scaringi, Jr. (Barbara) of Harrisburg, PA, and Cyndianne Gates (Robert) of Westport, CT; also her 9 grandchildren & 18 great grandchildren; One of her grandsons named her "Volunteer Vi" as she served 26 years at Forbes Regional Hospital, and wrote a column for 12 years for the Penn Progress where she was known as "The Rosedale Rambler"; She also volunteered many hours at the Penn Hills Library and for various other organizations. Friends received Thursday December 28, 2017 from 11 AM until a Blessing Service begins at 1 PM at CHARLES W. TRENZ FUNERAL HOME, INC., 11110 Frankstown Road, Penn Hills. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation
