Of Maryland, formerly Penn Hills; on January 19, 2020; Son of the late Joseph and Dolores (Mazza) Costa; Brother of Kim Ringle, Dominic, Joseph, Daniel, and the late John Costa; Also survived by his nieces, nephews and many friends; Wayne was a proud Air Force veteran and a civilian employee of the army; Friends received Thursday 2-8 PM at CHARLES W. TRENZ FUNERAL HOME INC., 11110 Frankstown Road, Penn Hills; Blessing Service at the funeral home Friday at 10 AM; Burial, with Military Honors, at The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies; Red served the La Societe des Quarante Hommes et Huit Chevaux (Forty and Eight) as Sous Chef de Chemin Der Fer in 2017 (National Vice Commander) and was currently serving as Sous Directeur Membership. His role as Sous Directeur Membership was to encourage Grandes (states) under his supervision to recruit new members and get their renewals in to Nationale Headquarters to achieve the goal of 100%. He was a long standing member (40+ years) of the Grande du Germany. He mentored many and was always there for other members and Veterans. Red would do anything needed to assist anyone in need. He was also active within the American Legion and VFW. In lieu of flowers, Donations may be made in Red's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or your favorite Veteran's charity
