Obituary
Alice C. Morris Paterson, “Pat”, age 99, of Penn Hills. Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Born on December 7, 1921, passed away on December 6, 2021 surrounded by her family hours before her 100th birthday. She was preceded in death by her loving husband and best friend of 67+ years, William R. “Pat” Paterson, Sr. They raised 4 sons, William Jr. (late Donna), Wayne (Christina), Wynn (Debbie), Wade (Sue) and one daughter Cheryl.
Pat is survived by 9 grandchildren (Bob, Susan, Dara, Derek, Dana, Shemaine, Rebecca, Katlyn, John); 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Alisa.
Pat spent her working days as a nurse caring for countless patients throughout her career. During her retirement she loved to do ceramics, made beautiful blankets/quilts, and was a volunteer for many years for the Penn Hills Service Association/Penn Hills Service Center. Many wonderful memories of camping, boating, and fishing were made with her friends and family while a member of the Shenango Valley Boat Club.
Pat attended Trinity Towers United Methodist Church in Penn Hills. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the Penn Hills Service Association, 2519 Main Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15235.
