Age 87, of Penn Hills, on July 17, 2024; beloved wife of the late Ralph T. Backoefer; Loving mother of Daniel R. Backoefer (Sharon) and the late Debbie Lynn Nickel; survived by granddaughter Vanessa Chambers (Micah and her father Ken Nickel), and grandchildren Kristina Backoefer, and Kevin Backoefer; great-grandmother of Katelynn and Grace Chambers; Sister of the late Martin Lake; Family & Friends received Sunday 2-6 PM, Funeral Service Monday at the funeral home at 11 AM;  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Alice May’s memory to First United Methodist Church, Music Department, 5401 Center Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15232
