Andrew Richard Bender

Age 42 of Pittsburgh, from Monroeville, born Feb 18, 1981, died Dec 4, 2023. Loving Son of Richard Bender (Cathleen) and Lois Cook. Brother of Carly DeCecco (Michael) and Jessica Bender-Gerard (Jason). Cherished Uncle to Danica, Luke, Kaylee and Maddox.  Andrew graduated from Empire Beauty School and was a successful hairstylist for almost 20 years in some of the most highly regarded salons in Pittsburgh. A beautiful soul, Andrew loved making people look and feel beautiful inside and out. He loved music and knew how to play the saxophone, oboe and french horn from his high school days in the marching band. Andrew loved to cook, and his holiday meals were always a huge hit. He will be missed by all of those who loved him. Friends Received Sunday 2-6 PM at CHARLES W.
