Carmen J. Morante, Jr.

Age 89, of Penn Hills; passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on July 23, 2024; Beloved husband of the late Dolores (Mikeska) Morante; Loving father of Anthony J. Morante (Tammy) and Lisa M. Morante (Jim Jarrett); Grandfather of Justin and Angelique Morante; Brother of Eugene and the late Vince Morante; also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends, who were like family; Carmen “Chomps” was a proud graduate of Pittsburgh Central Catholic High School, and the owner of V. Morante & Sons Landscaping; Carmen was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, and was lucky enough to attend Super Bowls, World Series games, and the “Immaculate Reception” game in 1972; family and friends received Sunday 1 to 4 PM & 6-8 PM at CHARLES W. TRENZ FUNERAL HOME, INC., 11110 Frankstown Road, Penn Hills; Funeral Mass at Christ the Divine Shepherd Parish, St. Susanna Church, Monday at 10 AM
