Carol Telford

Of Murrysville, passed away December 22, 2021; She was born February 11, 1946 in Cleveland, OH, daughter of the late Shirley and Lawrence Hess. As a young child, Carol moved to Avon Lake, OH.  After graduating, she enlisted in the US Navy, where she met her husband to be: Richard Telford. Richard and Carol were married 53 years. Immediately after marrying Richard, she joined the dental practice of Miller, Werrin, and Gruendel, where she worked for 46 years. There, the doctors and staff became her second family. She is survived by Richard, her daughter Jennifer Valentine (Eric) and her grandchildren Stephanie and Colin, her siblings Larry Hess (Phyllis), Ronald Hess (Mario), Beverly Guzzo (Frank), and Kenneth Hess (Kimberly). Friends received Monday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at CHARLES W. TRENZ FUNERAL HOME, INC., 11110 Frankstown Road, Penn Hills, where a Blessing Service will be held Tuesday at 11 AM.
