CATHERINE "KITTY"  HAHN

Age 86, of Lawrenceville PA passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 9 2025 surrounded by loved ones. Kitty was born on November 27,1938 in Duquesne, PA. She is preceded in death by her husband John S. Hahn of Lawrenceville, PA; her parents Helen and William Steele of Duquesne, PA;  sister Eileen Fuchs (Lawrence) of  Alberta, Canada and her sister Marie Sullivan (Donald) of Pittsburgh PA. She is survived by her son William Hahn (Valli) of Maineville, Ohio and her daughter Jacqueline Golightly (Steve) of Penn Hills. Grandmother to William Hahn, Jakob Hahn (deceased), Shannon Bowen-Hahn (Blaine), Kayla Golightly, and Emily Golightly (deceased). Great-grandmother to Cypress Hahn and sister in law of Dolores Hahn of Waxham, N.C. Kitty is survived by her brother William J. Steele (Diane) of Troy, Ohio; Jean Jaffre (Richard, deceased), of Chicago, Illinois; and Ellen Ahmad (Usman, deceased) of Pittsburgh, PA. Kitty was loved by many nieces and nephews.She was an avid gardener, a die hard college football and Steeler fan, and a terrific baker who was known for her famous coffee cake and Christmas nut rolls. She  had a wonderful way of expressing herself which amused her friends and family. She will be greatly missed. 

Visitation on Friday November 14th 6-8  pm at Charles W. Trenz Funeral Home 11110 Frankstown Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15235. Funeral Mass on Saturday November 15, 2025 at 10:30 AM in Christ the Divine Shepherd Parish, St. Bernadette Church, 245 Azalea Drive, Monroeville PA
