Cheryl Ann Herold

Cheryl Ann Herold, 73, passed away on May 11, 2025, in Murrysville, Pennsylvania. Born on November 1, 1951, Cheryl was raised in Penn Hills, Pennsylvania.

Cheryl lived a vibrant and adventurous life. She was a true free spirit, whose sense of adventure led her to live in many places, including Washington D.C., Jamaica, and Miami Beach, FL. Each location added a new chapter to her story and reflected her love for exploration and new experiences. 

Cheryl was known for her artistic talent and creative spirit. She had a big heart and an ever-present smile that brightened up a room when she entered it. She had a joyful sense of humor and was always laughing with family and friends.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Gertrude Herold. She is lovingly remembered by her siblings Diane, Janice, Ellie, and Mike and numerous nieces and nephews.

May Cheryl’s memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her, and may her spirit of laughter and adventure continue on in their hearts. 

To commemorate her life, donations may be made in her name to the Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh (humaneanimalrescue.org). Burial private.
