Clara I. Hendy

Age 101, of Penn Hills, passed away on November 10, 2023; Beloved wife of the late Raymond W. Hendy (married in 1944); Mother of Raymond C. Hendy, Carolyn Wermlinger, John Neel Hendy (Pam); Grandmother of Autamn Hendy, Amber, Brandi, and their mother Rhonda McDonough, Kim Barninger, John Wermlinger; also survived by 16 great-grandchildren. Clara loved traveling. Over her many years, she visited Rome, Venice, Jerusalem, Brazil, Vietnam, Russia, Newfoundland, and Rio de Janeiro. In her spare time, she bowled, golfed, played shuffleboard - all well into her late eighties. Clara loved her special friends, Paul and Ruth Kane, as if they were part of the family. They were always there, through good and bad times, and treated Clara as a second mom. The family will receive friends at 10AM on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at CHARLES W. TRENZ FUNERAL HOME, INC.  A Blessing Service will follow at 11AM.
