Penn Hills, Pennsylvania
David George Hansberry “Benny”, 51, of Penn Hills, passed away Tuesday, February 1,

Hansberry; loving brother of Michael (Carrie) Hansberry of Canonsburg, and sister, Maria
Hansberry of Pittsburgh. Uncle of Tiarra, Cate, and Griffin.
David started a career helping others in crisis while working for Mercy Behavioral Health
after receiving his Bachelor's Degree from Edinboro University and Master of Education and
Master of Science Degrees from California University of Pennsylvania. During this time

Most recently, David “Benny” always looked forward to planning a yearly Steelers Party
with his close friends and family at the facility he resided in.
David's focus was always on others rather than himself. His kind, caring, and compassionate
personality was always very evident when you were in his prescence.
