Age 90, of Penn Hills, went to be with the Lord on June 25, 2023; Beloved husband of Romaine (Mistrik) McIlrath; Loving father of James McIlrath (Karen), Richard McIlrath (Deborah), and Brian McIlrath; Brother of Robert McIlrath, Betty Kaupe, the late James & David McIlrath; Beloved grandfather of Heather McIlrath  (Parker Jones), Christopher McIlrath, Ian McIlrath, and Nicklaus McIlrath; Don was a member of the Syria Shrine, the Masonic Lodge ( Infinity Lodge 546), KWVA, Sharing & Caring, Greater Pittsburgh Dahlia Society, and Hebron Church; In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Don’s memory to a charity of your choice. Friends received Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at CHARLES W. TRENZ FUNERAL HOME INC., 11110 Frankstown Road, Penn Hills; Funeral Services will be Friday at the funeral home at 11 AM. Don will be buried with Military Honors on July 5, 2023 at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies
