Doris Katherine Anderson

Age 84, of Murrysville, passed away peacefully at home on July 1, 2023.

She was born June 12, 1939, in Edgewood, Pa., to the late Wilbert L. Anderson and Myrtle V. Anderson. Doris was preceded in death by her sister Elaine V. (the late Lynn) Anderson and her brothers Robert S. (the late Beth) Anderson and Arthur W. (the late June) Anderson. Doris is survived by her sister Ethel L. (the late Charles) Gray and three brothers: Jack B. (the late Alma) Anderson, Richard K. (Evelyn) Anderson and W. Larry (Martha) Anderson. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, great great nieces and great great nephews and wonderful friends.  

Doris worked for the CM Eichenlaub Company for more than 60 years. She started as a bookkeeper in 1959 and progressed through various positions before being named president in 1992, a reflection of her ambition, talent, hard work and dedication. While those who love Doris will always be proud of her professional accomplishments, she will be remembered most for her candor, wit and exquisite taste, and for being a loving and generous sister, aunt and friend.

It was Doris’s request to have no visitation or funeral service. Instead, the family will gather for a private celebration of her life.
