Eleanor E. Bicanich

Of Penn Hills, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 5, 2024. Daughter of Eli and Wanda (Krantz) Babich of Brush Valley, PA, she was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Genevieve, Marie, and Dorothy. Ellie is survived by her daughters Barbara and Patty Bicanich and Betsy Dillon and grandchildren (Grandma’s Angels) Daniel and Juliana. A lifelong educator, she taught for many years at Penn Hills High School, then moved on to directing career and technical education projects at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Penn State Greater Allegheny. Friends will be received at CHARLES W. TRENZ FUNERAL HOME, INC. 11110 Frankstown Road, Pittsburgh, PA  15235 on Monday, January 8 from 4 pm to 7 pm with a blessing service immediately following.
