Franca Mele

Age 95, of Penn Hills passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loving family on, March 29, 2021; Beloved wife of Michael Mele; Loving mother of Daniel Mele (Gloria), Maria Wilson (Robert), Virginia Buckwalter (Paul), and Michael A. Mele (Stephanie); Beloved grandmother of Monica Angoff (Robert); Michael T. Mele (Kara); Scott Wilson (Toni), Nicholas Wilson (Tara); Chrisa Kravetz (Tim), Paul Buckwalter (Kelly), Chad Buckwalter (Bekah), Melissa Sargent (Steve), Michael R. Mele, Meredith Barry (Brandon); and also 16 great grandchildren.  Franca was devoted to her family in every way.  Her ambition in life was to fill all who knew her with joy and happiness; any favor asked, became a gift from her.  She was a great wife, terrific mom, loving grandmother and great grandmother.  She is irreplaceable.  No visitation; family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at Christ The Divine Shepherd Parish, St. Bartholomew Church, Monday, April 5, 2021 at 12 noon; in lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital; arrangements entrusted to TRENZ FUNERAL HOME, INC.  Penn Hills PA.
