Kathleen (Kathy) Grabowski, 80, died Monday, November 10, 2025. Kathy was preceded in death by her husband Giles Grabowski, her parents John and Alice Lewis and her sisters Linda Werner and Amy Kobosky. Kathy is survived by her three children Carol (Tom) Schwendeman of Lancaster, Ohio, David (Judy) Eichner of Cartersville, Georgia and Karen (Ray) Walters of West Deer, Pennsylvania. She is also survived by grandchildren Lauren Eichner, Katie (Julia) Schwendeman, Bailey (Kirsten) Schwendeman and Alicia (TJ) Huerbin and her brothers Don (Shirley) Lewis of North Huntington, Pennsylvania and Tim Lewis of Pinellas Park, Florida as well as many nieces and nephews.
After retiring from corporate life as the Vice President of Liken Staffing and later Gregg Services, Kathy pursued her passion of owning her own home décor boutique (Touches of Elegance, Murrysville).
Later in life, Kathy volunteered for Habitat for Humanity and Meals for Friends. She was also an active member of Sunday’s Bread Inclusive Catholic Worship Community of Pittsburgh, The Association of Pittsburgh Priests, the East Suburban Friendship Club and the Penn Hills AARP Association.
Per Kathy’s request, there will be no funeral service or Celebration of Life. Any donations in her name to Sunday’s Bread would be gratefully accepted (3577 McClure Avenue, Brighton Heights, PA 15212).
