Marjorie A. (Lappenet) Hughes

Age 85, of Penn Hills; on February 16, 2022; Wife of the late Joseph A. Hughes Sr.; Loving mother of Joseph A. Jr. (Dotty), Carol A. Hunter (Steve), Kenneth M. Hughes (Sharon), John E. Hughes(Sharon), and the late Tom G. Hughes; Sister of the late Catherine Jellison; Loving grandmother of Heather, Sean, TJ, Jim, Tim, Mandy, Danielle, George, Jessie, and Kenzie; Great grandmother of Hayley, Bella, Jadyn, Ian Jr., Avah, Layla, Olivia, Mikey, TG III, Alexus, and Alayla; Marjorie was a long time cafeteria supervisor at Penn Hills School District.  She loved to go to the casino, playing cards with her friends to the wee hours in the morning, gardening, and playing with her spoiled rotten cats, but most of all spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Friends received Saturday 3-7:30 PM at the funeral home, the Blessing Service begins at 7:30 PM; In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Saint Jude Children’s Research  Hospital or to Animal Friends
