Mary Grace Grimes

Age 90 of Penn Hills, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2022, surrounded by her husband and devoted children. Beloved wife of Robert G. Grimes. Loving mother of Robert Gideon Grimes, Jr., Colleen Garcia, Judy Manza (Joe), Sharon Hughes (John), Lynda Grimes, and Jennifer Motto (Ray). Sister of Jeanne Cubarney (Charles), and the late Anna, William, Llewellyn, Robert, and Charity. Loving grandmother of James Kerr (Renee), Jackie Grimes, Joe Manza, Jr., and Jessica Robertson (Nick). Great-grandmother of Avah, Layla, Reagan, Conor, Mason, and Jake. Mary Grace served as a volunteer in many capacities: including, President of the Board of Marion Plaza Apartments, Pittsburgh Literacy Council (15 years), mentoring at Penn Hills School District (Forbes Elementary, 18 years), Bry-Mard Senior Living, and as a Eucharistic Minister at her parish. Friends received Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at CHARLES W. TRENZ FUNERAL HOME, INC., 11110 Frankstown Road, Penn Hills. Mass of Christian Burial Friday at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, St. John Fisher Church, Friday, 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to American Parkinson Disease Association.
