Michael L Brenner, 63, passed away at home on November 18, 2021, after a brief and courageous battle with cancer.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Vickie Chapuk Brenner, sisters Sandy (Roger) Hill and Alice (Lou) Kruse, an uncle, Fred Hecker, and his beloved canine companion, Chuckles, and felines, Necco and Rolo.
He was predeceased by his parents, Marvin and Bernice Hecker Brenner.
He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army having served with the 1/1 Calvary stationed in Germany and with the Judge Advocate General’s Office after graduating from law school. He was a lifetime member of the Millvale Sportsman Club. He loved spending time at the range where he was excellent marksman and loved fishing at the lake.
His greatest accomplishment was as an Administrative Law Judge with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Friends will be received at the Charles Trenz Funeral Home, INC, 11110 Frankstown Road, Penn Hills on Tuesday November 23 from 3-4 and a memorial service from 4-5.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mid-Atlantic English Springer Spaniel Rescue (MAESSR) www:maessr.org, a nonprofit organization that rescues English Springer Spaniels, a breed that was very dear to Michael’s heart having owned 4 English Springers over his life span.
