Michael F. Sparano, Jr.

Michael F. Sparano, Jr., 89, of Penn Hills, PA passed away on July 15, 2023.   Preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Josephine Viscardo Sparano and his sister Madeline Smith.  He is survived by sons, Frank (Linda) and Phillip (Tina), grandson Frank and granddaughter Emily (Brendan) McGuire and great granddaughter Beatrice Josephine, in utero.  Mike is also survived by sisters, Gloria (Denny) Bergamasco and Regina (the late Michael) Palmieri and many nephews and nieces.  

Known as Pappy and Pops, Mike was a devoted husband and father and also a devoted pet owner to many spoiled dogs over the years.  He was always there when we needed him and even when we didn’t! Pappy had a great sense of humor that has left us with many funny memories.
