Patricia Cristina
Patricia passed away peacefully on March 7th, 2024, at the age of 91. Her life was a beautiful testament to the love she shared and the positive impact she had on everyone she met.
Born into a world that would be forever changed by her presence, Patricia spent her 91 years enriching the lives of her family, friends, and even those she just briefly encountered. Her marriage to Joseph “Chris” Cristina spanned 59 remarkable years, a partnership founded on love and an unwavering commitment to family.
Patricia was the cherished matriarch to her children, Robin (John) Flaherty, Joe Cristina, and Lisa (Ross) Giacchino. Known affectionately as Grandma Sarge, she was adored by her grandchildren, Cristina (Todd) Gregg, Frank (Lauren) Mannetti, Patricia (Dominic) Mitchell, and Maria Cefola, and was a proud Great Grandma to Anthony, Sophia, Samantha, Colin, and Lucas. Her love extended beyond her immediate family, touching the lives of bonus grandchildren Maria (Eric), Angela (Christopher), Laura (Dave), Jason (Annie) Matt (Nicole), 12 bonus great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews all of whom she embraced with open arms and an open heart.
Patricia's home was a hub of warmth and joy, where every gathering was a celebration of family and friendship. Her ability to make everyone feel loved and included was one of her most remarkable qualities. She lived her life for others, spreading kindness and light with every interaction. Patricia's legacy is not just in the family she nurtured but in the countless lives she touched with her generosity and spirit.
Patricia leaves behind a world brighter from her presence. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a community that will miss her deeply. She was preceded in death by her parents Anna and Fredrick, her husband, and her brother Dave (Felice).
