Paul Robert Barbour, 59, of Plum passed away surrounded by family on October 13, 2020.
Paul was an extraordinarily kind and loving man, who always made those around him laugh. Since working at Turner’s Dairy Farm as a boy and as an Electrical Union employee of over 35 years, he was well acquainted with hard work, but valued most the friends he met through any opportunity and his time with IBEW5.
Paul had an endless love for the outdoors and travel, which even included time spent working in Wyoming National Parks. Some of his favorite adventures were skiing in Montana and Canada, snorkeling with turtles in Mexico, and countless Florida beach trips with his family.
He was an incredible father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend. Paul is survived by his two daughters, Lindsey Noel Barbour, Alison Jean Copelli and her husband Stephen; his grandson Owen Robert Copelli; his 4 siblings, Ruth, Beth Ann, John, Scott and his wife Cheryl; his nieces and nephews, Jessica, Lauren, Josh, Heather, Rachel, Keaton, JW, Ian, Tina, and Michael; as well as many other loved ones. Paul is preceded in death by his parents whom he is now resting peacefully with, Jack and Jean Barbour and his brother Jeff.
He will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, and willingness to do anything for the people in his life. Paul would ask that everyone knows how much he loved life and all of you, please hold his memory close to your hearts.
“Some of it’s magic and some of it’s tragic but I had a good life all the way.” - Jimmy Buffet
