Rhea L. (Infield) Kasner
Age 93, of Penn Hills, PA went home to be with her Savior on April 5, 2022.  Born March 7, 1929 in Sugarcreek, OH to the late Lloyd and Elsie (Blickensderfer) Infield, she was the beloved wife of Dr. William H. Kasner for over 70 years; loving mother of Barbara (Mark) Piccolino; devoted (and ornery) grandmother of Emily (Matt) Tappe, Erin (Tony) Wimer, and Will Piccolino; and cherished great grandmother of Grace, Landon, and Elsie Wimer, Brody and Blake Tappe.  She was the loving sister of Sue (late Fred) Gliem, the late Lloyd and Jean Infield, and the late Paul and Beverly Infield; sister-in-law of Robert (late Roberta) Kasner, and Louise Conner.  She leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews whom she cherished.  Rhea had a volunteer's heart spending countless years with the Girl Scouts, over 25 years delivering Meals on Wheels, and 15 years as a docent at Phipps Conservatory.  She never met a plant, a bird, or a bug that she didn't like, but she did have a love/hate relationship with squirrels.  She loved the outdoors and enjoyed teaching others about the things she cherished.  She was an avid Steeler and Pirates fan and really enjoyed a good college football game.  She loved her family fiercely and will surely be missed.  Friends and family will be received Thursday 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Trenz Funeral Home, 11110 Frankstown Road, Pittsburgh, PA; Funeral Service at Riverside Community Church, 401 Allegheny Avenue, Oakmont, PA, on Friday at 11 AM. Visitation at the church 30 minutes prior to Services. Internment will take place in Ohio at a later date.  Memorials may be made to Southeast Asia Prayer Center (SEAPC), 531 5th Street, Oakmont, PA 15139.
