Age 50, of Plum Boro, formerly West Mifflin; passed away unexpectedly on December 17, 2023; he is the beloved husband of Becky (Mantsch) Richards; loving father of Russel Richards, Rachel Richards (Titmus), Ryan Richards, and Rhiannon Richards; beloved Pappy of Declan Richards; son of the late Sherry Richards; son-in-law of Marguerite and George Mantsch; brother-in-law of Michael (Maloney) and Melissa; uncle of Kelly, Noah, and MJ; Ron was the bakery manager of Holiday Park Shop and Save and worked throughout Pittsburgh as a scratch baker. He was an active member of Holiday Park Volunteer Fire Department for the last 10 years and was a volunteer at Pitcairn Company Number 1. He was a great father, who showered his family with love. Ron would want anyone visiting to wear their best Pittsburgh sports gear rather than dress clothes. Friends received Friday 1-6 pm with a Service at 6 PM at Charles W. Trenz Funeral Home, Inc. 11110 Frankstown Road, Penn Hills
