Theodore Flora

Theodore P. Flora Jr. (“Ted”), 78, passed away on October 25, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born and raised in Penn Hills, Ted graduated from Penn Hills High School, served proudly in the United States Air Force, earned his degree from the University of Pittsburgh and went on to enjoy a successful 40+ year career in sales.

While Ted was a longtime resident of Monroeville, Ted recently made his home in Plum.

Ted is survived by his wife, Lynne (Schomburger) Flora; children Joshua (Heather Hibala-Flora), Zachary (Melissa Granatire), Bethany (Kyle Budinscak), and Gabrielle (Sascha Gray); and grandchildren Gracie and Brody Flora, Francesca and August Budinscak, and Beatrix Flora-Gray. He is also survived by his brother, John Flora, and nephews John and Ryan Flora.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Ted’s life during visitation on Wednesday, October 29, from 3:00–7:00 p.m. at Charles Trenz Funeral Home, Penn Hills. A Catholic Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Thursday, October 30, at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Parish, Our Lady of Joy Church, Plum.

Ted will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His legacy of patience, faith, and love for his family will live on…
