Dorothy A. Hughes

Dorothy A. Hughes, age 87, wife of the late Edward L. Hughes of Penn Hills, passed away peacefully December 24, 2017.  She is the beloved mother of Janice (Edward) Lutes, Joyce (Thomas) Scheirer, and Judy (Sheldon Dearden) Tyler. She is survived by grandchildren Rebekah (Richard Staley) Walsh, Alissa Knight (Adam) Baker, Jason Knight, Kyle (Erin Dickey) Knight, Julian Scheirer, Jesse Scheirer, Leavi Tyler, and Kolton Tyler.  She is also survived by great grandchildren Luci and Maxwell Staley, and Drake, Dylan, and Abrielle Baker.
Friends and family will be received at Trenz Funeral Home on December 27, 2017 between 5-8 pm.  A Blessing Service will be held on December 28, 2017, at 10 AM and then she will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery.
